Description

The 2024 IEBC promotes repurposing and utilizing existing structures. Without demanding complete adherence to the new construction criteria included in the other I-Codes, this code addresses the repair, alteration, addition, and change of occupancy of existing buildings as well as historic buildings while maintaining the necessary levels of safety.
